Only really one angry and rude PM. I'll keep things general to hide the identity of the rude person.

First Post in a Thread: Because of X do you think Y will occur?

Dullard: I do not think Y is going to happen.

Rude person in thread: Dullard you are an idiot, Y will never happen. Why did you even mention Y. What is your point?

Dullard in thread: I agree that Y isn't going to occur - it was the original poster's idea. It wasn't my idea. And my point was that Y is not going to happen.

Rude PM: The original poster NEVER thought Y was going to happen.

Dullard in PM: Reread the first post. The original poster was the one who thought Y might occur.

Rude PM: You idiot, the first poster never thought Y was going to happen. He asked a question, it wasn't his idea.

Dullard in PM: If he typed the statement "Because of X do you think Y will occur?", the poster must have come up with the idea that Y might occur. Thus yes it was his idea. But he was unsure and made a thread to ask us our opinion. How could he have typed that if he didn't think of Y?

Rude PM: Are you some sort of moron? The original poster asked a question, thus he could not have thought that Y would occur. It is a question, don't you understand English. @#%$ @#%$ @#%$. You are stupid if you respond to this PM, I'm above this sort of nonsense.

(Obsenities continue for a few more PMs - not from me I won't swear online). I still have no idea what that guy was angry about. I'm completely stumped by the anger and how I was incorrect in my logic that it was the original poster that mentioned Y.

Nah, I never get any. They are usually questions, suggestions or compliments. I expected to get rambling PMs from the religious nuts we have here in OT after a few posts of mine. But it just looks like my strong grip on rational thinking and overwhelming proof overpowered them. I don't think their weak minds could even hit the PM button to message me after I got through with them. 😉

Speaking of, where is Flyermax2k3? I'm sure he's got few few angry PMs. 🙂

No it was a thread about guessing a release date. Because X happened does that mean that Y is going to be released quite soon?

I'll keep the rude persons name private (although with a simple search anyone could find it).

I rarely get any sort of PM, let a lone a rude or angry one

edit: which I find surprising considering, by AT standards, I'm a rap lover and a ricer and usually when a post comes up about one or the other I will try to defend it

me - Here's a couple thoughts: For one, by looking at your past threads it is obvious to me you have very little knowledge of server administration. I didn't do anything wrong with pointing out that you were possibly doing something incorrect. You also might try learning proper grammar. I'm sure there are many primary schools in your area that can help you with this. There is a serious issue with your maturity level as well. PM'ing with wasteless garbage like "you're a TROLL" and "see you dumb comment".
