Have you ever played with a Ouija board?

Taken from the ghost stories thread: Text. Have you ever played or would you just for fun even you don't really believe in it? I probably wouldn't..

it actually works, don't ask me now

If you don't know how a Ouija board works that's scarier than anything conjured up by one.

What gets me is what makes THAT board work and not another. Like I'm sure if you took a piece of plywood and some paint and made your own, it would not work. What does the game (is this even a, game? lol) company do to it that makes it work the way it does.

That's assuming they even do work. I have a hard time believing but I heard too many stories that sound real. While the devil exists I really have a hard time believing he interacts directly with us in physical ways. I heard stories of windows breaking and all. Seems kinda unrealistic.

I've never played with a Ouija board, but I'd love to have one. I'd like to get an antique original.

It is no different than cow tipping. Everyone knows or has heard of someone who has done it, but it is impossible - cows sleep laying down.

nope. i grew up in an ultra religious household (meh) and the families of everyone i knew were also ultra religious and none of the kids were allowed to have or play with one...and since my parents did a thorough job of sheltering me, i probably grew up only know a couple of people who *might* have played with one.

/atheist now, thats what they get!

Good god, this is like trying to explain nuclear fusion to a garden snail. EVERY Ouija boards works exactly the same way, the participants guide the pointer to whatever they want it to say. Make one out of plywood, buy one, scratch some lines in the dirt, it's all the same.

O rly?

What's his address? I've got some souls to sell!

I use my Ouija board to spell out the names and addresses of my victims. It has never failed me in the 20 years I've been using it.

He's in Georgia. Grab a fiddle and go, he'll find you.
