Pre-recorded music .. not copies

Lemme know if I missed some formats
that existed relatively recent (yes, I know there were cellophane tubes in the Edison days)

I may have voted wrong in the last category. I downloaded (i.e. own) an authorized Harvey Danger album (from their website) but didn't pay for it. Probably should have voted yes on that one.

I've owned CDs, Cassettes, and a DualDisc (I put DVD-Audio, the extra track is 96khz PCM stereo)

Funny how the title of the thread is "have you ever owned a record" Obviously vinyl is the longest lasting format and the word record is synonymous with album. Personally I've owned CD, cassette, vinyl, and digital as most ppl. here probably have but I've used reel to reel and 8 track just never owned an album for those formats.

A lot of people got their 8-tracks from parents and relatives. My 1st car had a very old 8-track player, and the person I got it from gave me a few 8-tracks so I'd have something to play in it. Sounded awful, but it was kinda cool. 1972 Dodge Coronet 4-door held together by rust.
