EDIT: Around the holidays when the fiscal year is winding down and peers/coworkers go out more often its more prevalent. Once a group of guys split a 128 oz drink tower. That was fun, but it was the day before Christmas holiday started.

Of course it was fun, which is why you should do it more often.

I've ordered beer at many company lunch outings.

We also have end of month drinks in the office with wine/beer. Sometimes you just take some and go back to your desk with it and finish up working.

Fuck yes, on a bad day many more than one 🙂

Not anymore though as i no longer get lunch breaks and even if i did it would be at 2am.

Somehow my last two jobs were at companies with highly religious owners who had strict No Alcohol policies. That didn't stop me from having a beer at lunch every now and then, but we're talking maybe once or twice a year. We'll see how this new company pans out policy wise.

pretty common all over europe. So if you work for a global corp i doubt they have such black and white rules.

you are right, you can actually have a beer or wine in a lot of company restaurants here in Belgium. When we go out for lunch, most guys have a beer

dont see the fuss
