Yeah, same here. I've stayed at work a little longer than usual to enjoy the AC on a hot summer day.

After 16 hours on a wheat combine just laying in the shade of your machine on wheat stubble is bliss.

If you're driving mint trucks to the the still, every second is painful.

Now that I own my own business and lease my building, I finally enjoy my work.

I guess I'm one of the few who doesn't mind going to work in the morning. They don't pay me incredibly well, but the company and employees are awesome :D. So its worth it, earning less to make it a better experience over all.

Maybe you're trying to justify a crappy job. I love my job and have a lot of fun with it - the 100 best places to work for list probably is full of companies like mine. Actually, it's on there..

Yes, once while my home was under renovation. Go home and sniff the dry wall dust for hours while computer unplugged or stay in office. Well, turns out it would have been better to go home and induce lung cancer. People at work got pissed that I stayed late and nazi'd (honestly, there is NO better term) me for the entire summer about it. Oh noes, stayed overtime for free...

yup, I'm with ya here

Most of the time I wanna get home to the wife/daughter, but I also realize that if I don't fix whatever is broken or enhance whatever feature I'm working on, I'll be in a terrible mood when I do get home.

Well, I've often wanted to go to the bar, or to a party, or to meet up with my GF so we could go out whilst I was still at work. During that time, I didn't want to go straight home.

That said, I love my job, but I don't want to work a lot extra.

It was a joke. I enjoy my job. But, would you like a congratulatory handjob?

Yes. I love my (part-time) job. If I didn't have to sleep & could find enough to keep me busy, I'd be out for two days straight. :)
