Just curious.

I ran into Billy Corgan once on South St. in Philly.
Also met Meatloaf, but who cares.
Saw, but did not speak to Benifer during their taping of Gigli

How bout you?

EDIT: If you actually had a conversation, what did you talk about?

edit: the singer from slipknot spit water on me once at a concert.... thats almost like making out with him..... wow.

I met Kerry King from Slayer, the whole band Hatebreed, Dimebag Darrel, and a local weatherman.

Thats awesome, I'm a big metal fan myself, wish I could've been there. I heard Dimebag was a really cool guy. Saw him with Pantera back in 97, great show.

i met morgan spurlock once on the street....chatted with him for a bit..

the dude from supersize me

oh and once i accidentlaly bumped into katie holmes while filming dawsons creek in nyc...

I met Ben Folds -- he's a nice guy. He called by buddy's GF after the show and told her not to wait up because they were "headin' to Vegas to get hitched."

Good times.

OK, somebody's going to say it, so I'll beat the rest of you to the punch:

"We all miss the news, honey, but Huey Lewis needs time to create."
- Peter Griffin

Oh, and I swear I've met someone like that, but I can't remember who. Do football players count? I've met Tony Gonzalez quite a few times. The first time I thought he was pathetic (he was begging these girls to go home with him outside a club), but upon actually talking to the guy, he's REALLY cool.

OK, even though I'm not the OP, I'm going to officially say that local weathermen don't count. They're about as celebrity as William Hung. Would you be that proud about meeting him?

Exactly, thats why I said only actors or musicians. Sports figures and newscasters are much easier to see in public.

I've met Arron Tippin and his entire band (in fact I still exchange e-mail with Kevin Gallian - Guitar), Drew Carey, Thomas Chong, Roger "The Rocket" Clemmens, and Craig Morgan.

Edit: Almost forgot, I saw Ryan Stiles at a comedy club in Tucson a couple of years back. He did a "Whose Line is it Anyway" with members of the crowd and my wife got to go on stage. I shook the guys hand after the show so I suppose that counts.

I've met a few. Though I never approach them. If they are introduced to me I just act normally and don't fawn over them.

The latest was Geoffrey Lewis. He was Clint Eastwood's sidekick in Every Which Way But Lose and Any Which way You Can.

He is also Juliette Lewis' Father.

I met him at a private school concert I was attending for my nephews in LA. One of his grandkids was in it.

Nice guy. Though it was disquieting to see how much he has aged over the years. Reminded me of how old I am.

I met Yao Ming [houston rockets] and John Franco [NY Mets] not musician or actor.

saw Jack Nicholas and Adam Sandler during a shoot in NY
