Yes. Not even close to what comes out of a jar. We use it when we have jumbo lump crab as a dip/aioli, it's fantastic.

Too much effort? Did you watch the video? Put eggs and stuff in container, pour oil on top, blend.
There's a bit of elbow grease involved if you want it the right consistency. I usually use a hand mixer myself![]()

It's hard to tell what the end product looks like though so it's possible it's a little on the liquidy end I guess.
Done it a few times ... tastes great but I'm too lazy to do it often.
