Have you ever made a big decision or resolution after watching a movie?

I admit after watching movies sometimes I tend to make resolutions. However I do not remember ever sticking to one. Have you?

I decided to take boxing lessons after I saw "the hurricane", went a whole year. Does that count?

I did this the first time I watched American Beauty when it was first a indy. I saw life completely different, that didn't last long 🙂

danny~!

I took a hard look at a lot of my possessions after watching Fight Club and ebayed an awful lot of stuff. My general rule now is that if I buy something new, something old has to go. And I don't particularly care about any of it.

One of the people I work with said her sons (they were young 4 & 7 IIRC at the time) became vegetarians after seeing Babe.

I'd have to ask her again to be sure, but as far as I know, they never went back to eating meat.

i was pissed after watching World Trade Center. not at the movie execs or anything... but the terrorists. as if i still wasn't pissed from the real events, the movie only sparked more anger. guess in 4 years I might get a chance to give some revenge.

After I saw Click and bawled my eyes out...i decided to start appreciating my life and my loved ones more. For the most part I think I'm getting better...but it's just so darn difficult to NOT be angry at my mom when she PURPOSELY provokes me! AARGGHHH!!

EdIT: oh yea..and i also decided that i must meet my lovely Ms. Beckinsale at some point in my life. She's just too freakin beautiful.

I made a resolution to never witness Titanic again after being made to watch it.

Infact, you could replace Titanic with quite a few films.

I'm pretty sure lots of movies have made me look at things slightly differently for a while, but I can't think of any real differences I would've stuck too, no.

Interesting topic though, for OT 🙂
