I have killed a few animals including some birds when I was a kid with a BB gun. I started to feel really bad about it so I stopped. That was followed by my old GI Joe collection becoming the new sacrifice. 🙂

one time when I was a kid, I was playing with my pellet gun and I was shooting at some birds. My only intention was to scare them, watch them fly off, etc. I aimed at one sitting by himself on a telephone wire in our backyard... and accidentally hit him square in the chest. He fell straight to the ground like a brick. I thought I was going to die, I felt so guilty. I ended up burying him in a cornfield nearby, and I didn't touch my pellet gun for months.

Killed intentionally because of hunting. Venison is good.

I've hit a deer unintentionally with the car as well as the occaisional squirrel.


But never have killed something just to kill it.

Yes, I've shot pigeons off my roof with a pellet gun and killed a wounded one with a shovel because it was too weak to fly (I think a hawk injured it, either that or my neighbor winged it with his pellet gun).

I've also killed rats and snakes...shot a rabbit once too.

Used to kill a deer every fall
An elk every fall
a couple of antelope when we were in Wyoming
more gophers than I can count
assorted cats and dogs for one reason or another (put them down, hit with car/truck, etc.)
LOTS of humans...well, they were the "enemy" so not quite human...😛 but humanoid anyway...
A bag full of doves, a few pheasants, and a couple of sage hens. (grouse)
