Have you ever had a professional massage?

I had a short and sweet 10 minute massage yesterday courtesy of a massage booth in the vendor's area at a meeting. At certain points the massage actually hurts, but hurts so good.

If I were rich I'd get one every day.

what i'm saying is, sure your friend/sig other can do it, but a real massage therapist knows what they are doing. you can feel them working the tightness out of your muscles.

I have an ex-GF that was in school for massage therapy whilewe were dating, was awesome...and the happy endings were legal ;-p

I still get them occasionally from professionals...no happy endings though :-(

Twice. At the last place I worked we had a massage service on the first floor. It was cool because you could just email them to setup an appointment and then pop in during a break or lunch.

Also my wife and I got massages on the beach in Jamaica on our Honeymoon. It was awesome.

Yea if I could afford it I'd get them 3-4 times a week.

chiropractor.

I've actually been to one chiropractor who specialized in sports injury / rehab and he was awesome. actually knew how to address my back and shoulder issues better than the the 3 other chiro i have been to.

As for the Mosh, I've had a number of professional massages and they are great I've even let my friend who was trying to become certified practice on me and it was good. she knew how to identify and work on trouble spots.

right now tho, i' let my fiance work her magic hands on me. she's no pro, but its a great way to be intimate

Heh, just tried that last week. 30 minutes - I can't believe how much the stiffness in my shoulder improved. $35 for a half hour seemed like a bargain to me.

The Vegas ones are quite different than the cruise ones.

i did on my honeymoon. we were going to do the 30 minute one but they talked my wife into doing the hour when we got there, and i gotta say, i'm glad we did, because i couldn't believe how fast the 60 minutes went. can't imagine how fast the 30 minutes would go.

i got a pretty intense one as well sine i was having muscle tenseness and stuff so i was pretty sore afterwards, but it felt really good.

don't think i'd do it again though like that because of the price. it was in a bungalo outside of the poool at our resort, very relaxing and nice setting.

The community college I used to go to used to offer free chiropractic services. Shit was sooooo cash. Went there once a week after classes.
I love the endorphin rush you get after a good massage. It doesn't feel too far off from popping a vicodin.

I have one scheduled for wife and daughter every month (Hour long).

I will go get one for myself after a hard day working in the yard or if I have been on travel for a while and starting to feel tense. Min of 1 hr, sometimes 2. I have determined for myself that the 30min is just not long enough.

I had a membership a while back to a local massage place. I would get a different person each time until I got this one guy who understood the therapy in massage therapy. I've done physical therapy a few times because of injuries and he could tell without me even saying so.

Once, it was pretty good, but she was way too gentle. Don't know if I would like full-on shiatsu or something, but definitely need more force than that weak lady.
