I just had a nice time hanging out with / date with this girl, good conversation, somewhat flirty...watched a movie back at my place...end of the night comes, she wants to hang out again....but wouldn't kiss me?!?!? Have you EVER had a first date go well and NOT kissed the girl at the end of it...:confused: is that how most adult relationships are?? Maybe that's what I've been doing wrong

Yes. Herpes FTL. I won't do more than peck a girl on the cheek after a first date and I never do one-night-stands.

If a girl doesn't give a goodnight kiss on date one, I'd probably label as her as a lost cause and drop her. I'm being quite serious.

lol for all the people here that try to sound high & mighty, so far the poll is 0 yes and 5 no's for ANYONE having EVER had a good first date that didn't end with making out.

Yes. I had a date with a girl and decided during the date that I didn't want to be any more than friends with her so I never made an attempt to kiss her. She was one of those christian nut jobs so I knew I wasn't going to get past 1st base unless I married her anyway. The crazy thing is I had a lot of fun on that date though.

If you don't want to ravish her on the first date, it wasn't a good date.

First date is to see if there is a spark. If you're not attracted to somebody then it is a bad first date. It's even worse if you take her out and she can't eat the food because she's "allergic to wheat/flour"

Yeah pretty much every date Ive ever had that went perfect and didnt end with a kiss never actually turned into me getting the kiss. You gotta be a little aggressive or you can slip fast.

I was though...the thing is when I met her at this club we were dancing, and she wouldn't kiss me then either...wtf...trying to string me along or something maybe?

The poor girl?

I was polite and accomodating to her needs. But man I wanted to get out of there like you wouldn't believe. First date was at an italian resturant. If I had to listen to her whine about "I can't eat that" one more time I woulda put a bullet in my head.

it was a setup and what I thought would be a good date. But her hangups means no spidey-love.

and spidey, do you think the girl was allergic to wheat just to spite you? It sounds pretty debilitating considering that stuff is everywhere in our society. She probably feels weird enough without people bailing on her cause of that.

I concur. I'd say that if you don't get a kiss on the second date, you're probably headed for the friend zone, but at least give it one more date before you decide if it's doomed.

I find it easier when you actually know the person first. I think it's awkward any other way. I hate trying to "feel" what the other person is about for the entire first date.

I don't think you understand.

Her freakness is not my problem.

To reference my earlier posts. After about 30 minutes of getting to know her I wanted her out of my presence. Sure she was attractive, but I couldn't stand to be around her another minute she was that god awful obnoxious.

Versues - "wow, you're a great girl and I want to learn more....in fact I wanna see how you kiss you are so intrigueing (sp?)" - that's the spark.
