40 days??? as someone mentioned before it is a cakewalk...that movie is a piece of useless garbage with all stupid hype...as if not having sex for 40 days is the end of the world or something......Josh Harnet i hope your career crashes for doing a stupid third grade movie like that. it has been months since ive have sex...maybe because im in a new place, no real close circle of friends. big deal i can live without women and alcohol...but not without my ciggies...hehehe

Dude Edit your question and make it to "Have you ever gone 40 days/nights without sex and m@sterb@tion?" that is a better question....sorry to offend you but the question is a little stupid cos there will be a zillion people out there who would have had sex for much longer that 40days/night.....all of a sudden this damn stupid movie comes out and its seems like such a big deal.
 
Well, the movie's version of going without was without sexual contact of any kind, even with yourself. I don't think I could pull 40 days off. 🙂

The movie was actually very good, definitely give it a look - especially if you're taking someone of the sleek and slender persuasion with you. The twitchiness of Harnett late in the movie is one of those most hilarious film shots I've ever seen. 🙂
 
Without *anything*? I'd say 40 minutes. 😀

Without sex? Well since my first time at 17 I'd say my record was ~ 6 months. That was tough.

I went for 7106 days. First time at 19 1/2 years. I can go maybe 2 or 3 days tops, but its usually every 2nd day during the week and a boatload on the weekend 🙂
