I took on a job as a Server Admin at a University a month ago and got my CNA last week... We've been planning and I found that the network's going to switch to pure IP and we're upgrading all our netware servers to NW6...and switching about 50 print queues and 160 printers configured in HP JetAdmin to NW6....and trying to do it with minimal network down time. There are about 6 of us. We have about a 4000 node network and, like I said, it's University so the ignorant faculty won't be able to comprehend the changes we're making. They won't be able to understand the benefits either since we're already gigabit in some segments and we're trying to get rid of Appletalk and IPX for the sake of the new routers we're getting in next month that no longer support those legacy protocols... My hair is going to turn gray, and I'm only 21....:disgust:
