It was a while back, but I bought a new motherboard, RAM, and chip that wouldn't POST. I took it to a computer shop for help - nothing. I RMA'd the board and got a replacement - nothing. I RMA'd the RAM - nothing. I got a new chip - nothing. I got a completely different motherboard model - nothing. I was just about to give up computers and focus on drinking when I found out that the culpret was a misplaced riser that grounded out the back of the board. Over two months wasted.
