. So they will demand paying for some of the dates as well.

Holy crap, you must be living in paradise! Last time I had a relationship, the biatch explained me very carefully that if I don't give a woman money why would she need me. Nice, isn't it? I thought I was about to blow up from anger. No wonder we split up shortly thereafter.

So that's what, we're talking of pickup? It exists here too.

I would have thought it strange if it didn't, but we just do the dating stuff like you have :p
But it might be on its way, since we are very influnced by US culture.

I think it has to do with equality of the sexes, which we have lots of discussions and politics about over here. The housewife virtually doesn't exists in Denmark any more. Which also means that both living together will share all work done in the house and with the children etc. Although it seems that women aren't totally ready to give away their dominance of the house and men still find ways to avoid house work :p

The definition of a date in my eyes is to create a situation where just the two of you are alone and enjoying each others company.

Example would

1x Romantic 'date' - Dinner, dance/walk, etc
1x Action 'date' - Ice skating, Absailing, Power kiteing, etc

When on the third it's her decision as to what to do and both to see where it ends up. Of course the emotional and physical side is being built up over the first two, then on the third all hell can break loose

I started dating when I was 13, and was never really single for any extended period of time until I hit college.
