What if you are with someone...then you meet that "once in a lifetime...forever" person, and they are with someone? You would not indulge in the temptation? Let it go by and never know what might have been?
Also, there is a diiference if the SO is a spouse, rather than a "b/gfriend". Something came along and decided that the old ways of dating several people were wrong and we all had to become entirely emotionally entangled in another person starting at the age of 13 or so. Why.....I should be able to try the many flavors of life before commiting to that one and only.
As for the oral sex thing...I was being a smart ass about Billy Boy Clinton and his garbage. I have a fifteen year old cousin, her friends and her most certainly do not believe that oral sex is sex. Because I am not a total old ass yet they talk to me a lot. I have been directly told that since the President can get away with it, why shouldn't they (with no help or prodding from me!!)?

it has crossed my mind once or twice but i know better than that. i never put myself in a situation where it would be possible to simply avoid it. i love my girlfriend and i would never do that to her. we have been dating for almost 2 years and it would devastate her if i did something that stupid.
i would at least have the courtesy to break up with her first before i did anything like that.
and to everyone else who said kinda what i said, i can truly respect you guys because it takes a big person to stay true IMO.

too lazy to read all the posts, but it just depends on what cheating was. I never did anything with another girl, but I used to have very wandering eyes and an equally wandering mind...that all changed later, with my ex, as I had no reason to anymore, but some thoughts were always there.
