Have you ever bought something...

I saw this thread and let me tell you if that happened to me...

Well they could make a CSI episode out of tracking down the numbskull that did that! That is just plain wrong. They should get their nuts stretched out and boiled in ten molar nitric acid. If the person that did that is female, they should insert a 120W industrial soldering iron up...

Cheers!

This happens alot at retail stores. Another popular one is bricks in harddrive boxes.

Well that may have worked with Elite47's. 🙂

I can see it now. We're gonna have to buy a damn sawzall just to open the damn packages now because they will package EVERYTHING in those ultrasonic welded packs that are IMPOSSIBLE to open without a cutting device. :|

Cheers!

Next big thing will windows like the one found on pasta boxes to see the card.

On another note, he didn't even get a full package of D batteries.

That's terrible. The worst that's happened to me was not getting the 3rd disk to DoomIII. Luckily my brother bought it also.

Didnt someone on these forums buy an ipaq at Office Depot or something, and all that was inside was a bag of sand? I wonder if he ever got that worked out.

This was a couple of years ago.

I bought a toaster - upon opening said toaster at home, found about 100 instruction manuals, but no toaster. Store was kind enough to issue a replacement.

I remember that thread.

I bought a radeon 8500 from bestbuy for $80 during one of those phases where they clearance out stuff for no reason, it was going for 150 everywhere else. And a radeon 7000 ended up being in the box. I go to return it, and since im a young guy guess they figured I was just trying to pull a fast one, swapping cards.

Handed it over to my parents who have a few gray hairs, they went to another bestbuy and returned it no problem.
