Have you ever been so stressed that you just wanted to disappear? I mean like pack your bags and fly to a different country.

All the time. That's life. Inevitably, stressful times arise from being put in unfamiliar situations. Properly managed, those unfamiliar situations can lead to personal and professional growth. Take it with confidence, keep your head down and move forward.

This doesn't include the obvious exceptions: Personal health issues, family health issues, death of a family member, etc. etc.

FVCK stress!
If you don't care, it can't get to you....

That doesn't mean you quit caring about the important stuff, but rather that you quit letting all the little things get to you...AND, that you take the attitude that you REFUSE to let stress become an issue...

Yes ... yes I have, and no I have not acted on the impulse to disappear. I have taken a 1/2 day off to play golf / video games / watch tv / boff my wife / spend time with the kids / et cetera, to relieve the stress and then got back in the saddle the next day.

Its not stress from work. Its stress from dealing with baby's mama and just kind of quarter life crisis with graduation coming up and grad school chances fading, no jobs on the horizon etc.

You have a chemical imbalance, and are in need of medication. Ask your doctor, as your local friendly pharmaceutical conglomerate would be more than happy to provide better living through chemistry.

Disappear.?, always... but I normally just want to go yell at the top of my lungs and maybe smash a phone into a thousand pieces. Or both. And after words I feel great. :)

I've stressed myself enough to where it's caused me to not sleep, eat and poop right but not to the point of wanting to leave the country.

As I am fond of saying (and all too apt to forget to apply in my own life):

"There are only two kinds of problems in the world. The kind that you can solve, and the kind that you can't. There's no point in worrying about the problems that you can't solve, and there's no point in worrying about the ones that you can. "

If you can solve it, work to solve it. If you can't solve it, live with it. If you can't solve it and can't live with it, work to turn it into something you can solve.
