My first GF way back in highschool was brought over by a friend. Here's the scenario:

- Melty is 14/15, laying in the back yard on a lawn chair reading some Stephen King (I believe it was Eyes of the Dragon).
- buddy walks into the back yard. "Jay, what's up man. Come for a cruise, I got some girls in the car."
- Me: "GIRLS?" 0_o
- Buddy: "Yeah man, let's go it'll be fun."
- Me: "GIRLS?" o_0 "ummm"

So yeah the girl's name was Julianne. French girl, dated her for a couple months. Last I heard she was married with kids, etc... but this is ~15 years later so that's all well & great. There you go, that's my setup story - could be the one and only.

I met my first, and so far, only love through an exGF of mine. My ex liked my friend, but he wasn't interested in her. She decided to visit him and see what might happen. She brought her co-worker/friend with her for moral support. I showed up like I ususally did and started to chat with my ex, who I hadn't seen in 7 months. She introduced her friend Sue. Sue and I were instantly attracted to each other. We had a great time and then later on started spending more and more time together and we fell in love.

mine was unintended. And it annoyed my exGF, who went home by herself.

My pic of Sue and I is on http://pics.bbzzdd.com you just have to search to find it.

well, I have a female friend whose life mission is to introduce me to women she thinks would be 'right' for me...all unattractive, uninteresting, etc. Needless to say, I don't go out much with her anymore (sometimes there's one of those unexpected women she wants to set me up with along)

the worst part is, she knows my 'general' type, and seems to love finding people who aren't even close to it

Several times. I don't really tend to like it - it creates an artificial pressure, and I find my friends and family often seem to have a mistaken idea of who I'd find attractive.

haha, my dad force me to go on a date with a girl of his choosing one time.

Needless to say the night ended with me telling me dad, "I appreciate the thought but don't ever do that again." :Q
