One time me and my girlfriend go into this local small italian diner. We get seated by a cook and hes like server will be with you. Theres only 1 server but theirs only like 2 or 3 other tables in the place. She keeps staring at me and then walking off. I chalked it off that she was busy, yeah right, after like 20 minutes of being ignored, she never said anything to us. Finally she sits down in the booth behind me and precedes to chit chat with the people there. I left after that and im like ill never go back there. Funny thing is my wife now eats there and says its delicious. Im like I wouldnt never know, they dont serve my kind there haha.

Yep, one time it was busy and the server got us as an extra table. Waited a half hour for something to happen, then we flagged somebody down and were all like "OMGWTF" and they gave us free desserts.

twice in a fridays. First time it happened the manager said the waiter had a family emergency and gave us some free stuff. The second time the waiter was fired before we ever saw him/her however the wait wasn't too long and another waiter picked us up.
Heh, slow service is the norm for fridays. Its not uncommon to go there and order drinks and wait 15-20 mins before the waiter brings them.

I was once at a Pizzeria Uno's - got the worst service of my life - 20 minutes to ask for drinks, 15 minutes to get the drinks, another 10 minutes (with all of our menus closed) for him to ask us what we wanted - 30 minutes for food - let to a 64 cent tip. And yes, I mentioned this (very politely) throughout the entire dinner.
I went to Applebees once with my girlfriend and we sat down in a booth. Then we sat there for 10 min or so and no one said anything to us. We went somewhere else to eat, it was kind of funny though.

damn waitress was apparently catering to tables that ordered more expensive things, because we had to go refill our own drinks (we were seated near the bar.) that just topped it. it took them at least 20 minutes to come and get the check from us. we had to flag people down to even get the check. she NEVER came by to see how we were doing.
