Have you ever been airborne in a car?

I overshot the road at a t intersection once. There was heavy new snow and I didn’t realize that it wasn’t a four way intersection until I found myself airborne. Fortunately, there was an abundance of soft snow upon which to land. It took a few moments to extract the car but no damage.

Once. An acquaintance was showing off his car, don't remember what it was, some kind of Pontiac maybe. He's much shorter than I am, so his head didn't hit the top of the car the way mine did. The landing wasn't pleasant either. He used to boost cars, cleaned up his act (kinda) after his second felony arrest because of a 3 strikes rule. He once asked me to write a character letter to a judge to try and get his record expunged.

Twice. Both times not the driver, both times going over railroad tracks. Once was in high school in my buddy's parents Dodge Caravan. That thing was a POS and he drove it like one. Other time was in a work truck. Both times, even with seatbelts on, hit my head on the roof. Good times.

I don't think so. I've came close on some what we called "whoopdedos" which are abrupt humps in the road.

I have been in two vehicles (I think both were Fords) that caught fire. Nothing too serious but we did have to get towed both times.

Can't think of any time all 4 tires have been airborne but there are times where I did not notice a pothole or simply did not expect it to be as bad as it is and pretty sure it got at least one tire off the road.

On subject of car fires when I was a little kid I was at camp with my grandma and we drove to a spot fairly far in the bush to go blueberry picking and when we got back to the car it was completely engulfed in flames. It just randomly caught fire. It was one of those Chrysler cars that talked, I joked to my grandma and said wonder if it was saying "fire fire fire!". We ended up having to walk back to camp. I don't really remember how far it was or even my grandpa's reaction but I do remember after the fact we went to see the car at the scrap yard days later and it was weirdly sad to see it in that state, just a rusted out shell.

Yea. There's country roads around with interesting geometry. Hit the gas on approach, and you can get some good air. The car doesn't really like it though :^D
This, in my younger days. Partying with friends in an old Volvo back in PA. We ended up on a dirt road not much more than a cow path. I remember the kid had speakers just laying loose in the back seat. They were blasting 'Can't Buy Me Love' by the Beatles, and for some reason the guitar was way louder than the lyrics.

Yup. i did this once, and decided that unless I'm on a dedicated rally course, it's not worth doing again

Some of their older stuff was mixed with vocals more in one channel and guitars more in the other channel, probably the balance was off (or maybe only the one channel was playing)
Can also depend on which release it was, but listening to the 2009 24-bit remaster, definitely seems like it could be the reason on that track.

I was pretty effortless on my part. I was sitting in the 10th row, then I wasn't, then I was and that is about all I remember.
I was thinking more on the part of the driver and the vehicle, not so much the passengers 😛
They're not exactly built for speed last I recall.

Ah, figure about 50 mph sliding off a country road into a ditch then hitting a 2' culvert covered by dirt. He basically drove it into a ramp. Even though I was on the side we slid off I did not know what happened until after I climbed out and saw the rear axle had been removed from the bus, it was still on the culvert.
