My friend and I just got back from there. They've got great hamburgers, fries, and shakes. I was wondering to myself if Dick's has a restaurant chain. I know they're here on the west coast, but are there Dicks all over the country?

<< City: Daytona

Province/State: Florida

Country: United States

Since when did florida move to the west coast? 😕

I think I've seen a Dick's sporting goods store in Maryland. But I've never eaten at Dicks before. They've got great hamburgers? Do they serve foot long hotdogs too?

<< I've never eaten at Dicks, But ocassionally, I like to enjoy a Dicken Cider. >>

I like to heat mine up so I can have a hot Dicken Cider 😀

My dad used to answer the phone when he was drunk "Dick's hotdogs, Dick speaking. If you like hotdogs, you'll love Dicks!"

There's also a store called BJs here at Maryland. I think they are similar to Sam's Club...

They should put those two places together in the same shopping center....

I haven't eaten there, but in Kitchener, Ontario, there's a place called Jack ASStor's restaurant with the very large backside picture of a donkey. Never eaten there but I laugh every time we drive by it.😀

Actually, when I lived in Spokane, Wa, as a teenager, I worked for Dick's Hamburgers. Best, cheapest drive in restaraunt in town. We peeled our own spuds for the fries and made everything fresh. I used to like cooking fries and fish, becaus we could "nibble" on the job. 😀

I think a 1/4lb cheeseburger is still like $.79 or something.

It is actually owned by a man, who would be quite old now, but the name is from his son Dick, who was killed in Vietnam.

If you are talking about the one in downtown sd, yeah its great. The waitress' are really rude (in a good way) and its famous for that, they plop bbq wings in front of you and say here chow down boyyyyyy.

heh heh, upon first glance, i thought this thread was titled "Have chicks ever eaten d|xx..." heh, sorry, i just had to bring it out. and no, i'm not a pervert durnit.

We have dicks sporting goods in rochester,MI but not dicks resturant, but if it were my place, dicks would not be in my top 10 resturant names.
