I've met:

Max Weinberg (of Conan O'Brien and Springsteen fame)
Horatio Sans (of SNL fame)
Kobe Tai and Asia Carrera (of... another kind of california film industry fame)

 to your dad. Hope it was scalding hot.

I met Danny Carey at a concert in August 2003. His other band, PLC, was opening up for APC. Anyway, I bought a personally signed drumhead from him and he came out and gave it to me and thanked me for buying his gas.

I've met New Found Glory, a friend I was with at the Warped Tour one year grew up with a few of the members, so they came by and hung out with us for a little before it was their time to go on.

I met Cyress from the real world in down town Ft. Lauderdale at a club, and that guy Manny who swims with the sharks on animal planet and has been on Jackass down in Key West during Fantasy Fest also.

I sat next to Jamie Lee Curtis in LAX for almost an hour when I flew back to the USA from PI after my tour in Op Desert Storm was over. I wish I had had the sack to say hi to her. Then again she was trying to stay "low" so it would have sucked for me to blow her cover for her.

Mike Tyson was on my plane from Vegas to JFK. A bunch of people went up to him at the baggage claim (while his gf was grabbing the bag, he was standing around with his CD player)... he was nice enough to sign autographs and talk to them. I wasn't really a fan but I admired from the side. This was just last Sept. He still had enough $ to fly 1st class... and his gf was HOT.

I don't know if he qualifies as a 'celebrity' but I met Leon Lederman (Nobel Prize in Physics, 1988). He was on campus to give a public talk later that evening but the physics department arranged an informal question/answer session that afternoon for faculty and students.

Not really a celebrity, but Yes from Semester at Sea on MTV was over my house once. A good friend of mine works with him. We asked him to smoke up with us, but refused to smoke out East coast weed lol.

The lead singer from "the Cherry Popping Daddy's" used to hang out at the music store across from the first bike shop I managed and I met him a few times.
It's not much I know, but that's all that comes to mind right now...

I did meet Jimmy Carter once as well.

It is sad when a Nobel Prize laureate of physics is not considered a celebrity.

I met Kerry King (from Slayer) and the members from Hatebreed. Besides a couple local newscasters though, not really anyone else.
