Have you dreamed about your S.O.?

Yeah yeah yeah, all the inevitable crude jokes aside (which, of course, won't stop them), we've had discussions about dreaming about other forum members. How many of you have had dreams about your "significant other" (that always strikes me as such a strange term) though?

Hmm... Since a lot of my dreams are about everyday life, of course she'll be in em. Sometimes I dream about stuff that I have planned the next day or in a few days, and when that time comes around, it feels like I've done it all before.

Short answer: Yes.

Haha.

I don't dream. Very often, at least. I can recall a few very intense dreams from childhood, but that's about it.

I don't dream. Very often, at least. I can recall a few very intense dreams from childhood, but that's about it.

I am the same way... never remember my dreams. they say you dream all the time, just sometimes don't remember them. or in my case and yours, almost never remember them.

I dream about zombies sometimes. Usually it's like in "Return of the Living Dead", only in an advanced state of the infestation, and there are very few living humans left in the world. Sometimes I am a member a resistance group, and we fight the zombies. One time I remember that the door to our hideout was a Coke machine. You had to have a key to open the Coke machine, and once you got it open, it went into the hideout. We had a lot of weapons in there. Normal guns mainly just slow the zombies down, so we used a lot of flame throwers and explosives. Also we had weapons stashed all over the place. In towns, in buildings, barns, that kind of thing, because we were always on the move on zombie killing missions, and you never know when you'll run into a roving band of the undead. Some of the people I work with were also in the dream, fighting zombies. We were out on some mission, close to my highschool, and we were jumped by a band of a couple hundred of the brain suckers. After our flame throwers ran dry we ran into the school because I knew that in the locker room there used to be another one stashed there in my old gym locker. I made it, but I think they got the rest of the platoon, I don't really remember, but I got the locker open in time and fried the bastards. I remember the goo running down into the drain in the locker room.

Sometimes I dream that I can fly. It's not really flying like the birds do it, I just sort of concentrate, thinking light thoughts I guess, and then I can float. To move I have to keep kicking my legs and waving my arms while continuing to concentrate. Steering is difficult, and not very accurate, but I can get off the ground a good ways. I remember one time I was flying, and someone was after me. It might have been the zombies, I dont really remember, but I found this big valley that somehow I just knew was a safe haven. So then I practiced flying around in there for a while. It was really cool.

I don't have a SO. Actually I'm sort of wondering why I made this reply, and I now so are you. I go now.

yeah. and recently too. it was pretty strange.... I spent last weekend (Thanksgiving) at my aunt and uncle's house in the Dallas area and I couldn't sleep worth a damn. So I had a dream about this girl I just started dating.... not my S/O, not *yet* at least but close enough

anyway, it was really weird like all of my dreams are that I can remember. It all took place in familiar surroundings, that looked nothing like the actual places they represented. For example, part of the dream took place in my apartment, and I knew that it was my apartment, but it didn't look anything like my real-life apartment. So pretty much everything was like that. I can't even remember what *she* looked like in the dream now but it was definitely her.

So it was all about us hanging out and stuff (nothing overtly sexual that I can remember), and then I met this really tall guy who showed up at my place for no apparent reason, and in the end it turned out that this guy was actually her and her best friend who liked to get into this costume and walk around pretending to be a (very tall) guy. The part of the dream where they came out of their tall-guy costume was really weird, since it was clearly physically impossible, from any rational point of view. But it was a dream, and somehow I believed it anyway. Anyway, it ended up with her not wanting to see me any more, and I got really sad in my dream when I woke up, I still believed that it was real and then I had to do a quick mental check: I was in Dallas, it was Thanksgiving, and none of what happened in my dream had actually occurred. Geeze sometimes I even freak myself out. No, I hadn't been drinking or anything

I definitely think that it was weird, that I dreamt about her only a week after our first date It was definitely one of those dreams that doesn't make any sense. I remember having some other dreams that night, but I can't remember what they were about. Overall I slept like sh|t the whole time I was in Dallas :frown: NOT what I needed coming into finals.

I often dream about people in my life, so it would not be unusual for me to dream about a SO, should I have one at the time. My dreams are often a strange mix of reality and random mind musings; I'm often tripped out. good times
