I have been to one when I was a kid. what happened was that we have this festival where we throw water balloons and color paint on one other. Me and my friend modified the concept slightly, we threw eggs on a cop's vehicle.

We ended up in the slammer for around three hours, until our parents came to the station to pick us. No charges were filed, but I got the hiding of my life that day.

I used to volunteer at a jail teaching computer skills. It was also a INS holding facility so there were a bunch of illegal immigrants waiting to be deported.

Have to say that it was an interesting experience, especially going in and out. I was once in there when they did a lock down.

Well, actually more than a couple, but just on weekends.
Well, actually there was one time that was during the week. That sucked.

yes at least 6 times over the years..
longest stay was 30 days for illegal Street racing
next longest was 4 days for a 4 mile long wheelie on my bike..
rest over nighters for various traffic infractions

Got a tour in fourth grade.

Spent 30 minutes at the county jail a couple of years ago. No good story tho, my truck lost the battle with black ice and a tree, and I needed to wait somewhere for a ride home.

Yep, 4 times plus a couple Drunk Tank overnighters.

Longest stint was 6 days I think. All told, maybe 20+ days total. Now don't go telling my Boss OP.
