Have you bastards tried Screamin Sicilian?

I thought their stuff was pretty meh. The basic rule I follow is the closer it looks to a pizza shop pizza, the more it's gonna suck. The various flatbread creations are much better, especially when taken on their own terms, and not compared to pizza shop pizza.
 
My problem with frozen pizza is it takes up too much valuable freezer space and takes too long to cook. So if I'm buying it, I need to cook it right away. But if I'm going to do that, I might as well just buy the Costco $10 XL food court whole pizza that's already cooked for me. Then if I have leftover, I can just stick it in the fridge and reheat in the microwave for 1 minute.

Costco is a pain the ass, especially the hours. And my nearest Costco is like 25 minutes away, with no traffic.
 
I liked their concept of ingredients. I tried a couple flavors. But, nothing really was special about the taste. So, I never went back to them. If I'm eating a frozen pizza, then I'd rather have a different okay frozen pizza at a much lower price point.

Quite possibly their problem is of their customers being let down. My expectations were higher and they failed to meet expectations. The pizza may have actually been better than other brands, but my mind was expecting too much, so my mind didn't like it as much.

One of only a few brands of frozen pizza that doesn't suck.

Having said that, it's still frozen pizza. Not something I spend a lot of money on, and neither should you.

I have one chest freezer along with 3 fridges. So 4 freezers total but all full of food. I need to eat everything I have before buying more but I love grocery shopping so any empty space gets filled quick. Frozen pizza is very low on my list of desirable food so it has to be special to enter my freezer.
 
It's okay, too expensive for what you get (it's typically $8+ around here)
I did try the Loaded Pan version a couple times, that was better than the standard round variety, but I haven't seen it in stores for close to a year now.
Freschetta is still the best standard freezer pizza, but the Motor City Pizza from Costco is pretty decent too.

I was pretty unimpressed the one time I tried the Costco food court pizza though.
"Too long to cook" is an interesting complaint, one has to budget time for cooking basically anything, and it's not like cooking a frozen pizza requires your involvement during the cooking process...

Nope. Don't have toaster oven. Just regular oven and microwave.

I'll take Costco food court pizza over any frozen pizza. I haven't found one frozen pizza that was better than Costco food court pizza. I'm not saying Costco pizza is the best but it's hard to beat the value and taste.

It takes like 15 minutes plus oven preheat to cook frozen pizza in the oven. It takes like 5-6 minutes to microwave even though the instructions say not to microwave. Costco foodcourt pizza takes like 1 minute to reheat and will be better than the frozen pizza you microwave for 5-6 minutes. Reheated Costco pizza is better than frozen pizza you bake in the oven for 15 minutes.

But if you're microwaving a pizza that says "do not microwave", you're going to have inferior results. So I agree, you definitely shouldn't be buying frozen pizza, it's clearly not your bag.
 
We used to alternate between them and Digiorno, when we are not making our own pizza or getting Papa Murphy. Pretty good for frozen pizzas but they tend to be on the expensive side. We normally get them when there was a sales.

Has anyone noticed Costcos' pizzas are getting thinner? Last few time we ordered them they were like less than 1/8" thin...

Well my preferred frozen pizza is Totino's Party Pizza. I don't know if it's still $1 but probably not with food inflation.

You microwave Totino's? 😱 The texture of the crust when you bake it is one of the things that make it worth eating.
I don't grasp the whole "time" complaint, I know when I'm going to be hungry, so I just make it so the food will be ready at the appropriate time.

Edit: Now that I think about it, with your love for weird seafood, I guess I can grasp how the texture of a microwaved Totino's or leftover Costco pizza would appeal to you.

The other problem with frozen pizza is that it's pretty dang easy to make your own at home especially if you can buy good dough made fresh locally. (and it tastes exponentially better)

Yes, I microwave Totino's. That's my preferred method. That's how I ate it as a kid because I didn't know how to use an oven. So anytime I eat Totino's, I microwave it because the taste reminds me of childhood. Oven baked Totino's doesn't bring back the same nostalgia so it's inferior to me.

If I bother to make pizza at home, I'm also going to make the dough. I owned pizza restaurant so it's not hard for me.
