I'm recovering from an abusive long-term relationship (she became a bitch). When I got together with her, I wasn't really that good at meeting single women. Needless to say, the skills haven't gone up during that time.

How do I go about finding someone new? Can't ask anyone within my circle of friends, so I'm pretty much restricted to single women that I've never met before. Any thoughts?
 
Not that I'll be able to help you here, but we need more details on the whole age, location, work arrangements, social life, etc. And why can't you ask your friends? That's what they're for!
 
No you don't have trouble cause you actually haven't tried. You need to grow a sac, and forget all this bad crap thats been happening to your (all i know is that she's banging your best friend) If that were me, i'd have no contact with them ever again, unless you just wanna break him off a peice.

I understand that yes, it's an abusive relationship, but you're a grown ass man and you need to get over your problems because the next lady isn't going to want to hear about them.

what are your hobbies?

any kind of club or something you can join that fits your interests? pool league, motorcycle club, etc?

Yeah, I know I haven't tried. I really don't know how 😵

I'm turning 21 in May, I live right off-campus from the University of Arizona in the Tucson area in a 2-bedroom apartment. Don't have much social life outside of my friend circles (all of the women are taken already).
 
Dude you are at the U of Arizona and you're gonna tell me you can't meet women? All you have to do is walk into a party and start talking to people. No one has to know who you are...just be yourself and keep the negative stuff behind you. I went to one of the worst schools EVER for meeting girls and I still met a bunch.
 
Don't try to pick up. By that I mean don't go to singles bars looking for action. It's too obvious. Strike up conversation in the grocery line up. Join a club, start doing yoga, join a running group... That kind of thing.

You have to just talk to them. Just go buy the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air on dvd and mimick Will. Girls dig that, especially if you're a short white guy.
