I was just about to edit my first post with that. 7 characters.
 
What state?

Kahleeforneeya has "environmental" plates that support a variety of causes. Some allow 7 characters, others only 6.
 
If you're going to suggest obscure 7 letter acronyms, please enlighten me as to what they mean.
