Have to find new home for dogs, any suggestions?

What a coincidence. I caught some douche bag abandoning his dog up at the park today by tying it to a post. When he noticed me he acted like he was just out walking his dog but I made a second lap around the park just to check and the dog was still there. I couldn't do much since the dog wasn't acting very friendly towards my two dogs so I just gave him what treats I had in my pocket and called animal control. People do that shit up there all the time. I've taken one home myself and found him a home. The shelter is a 15min drive away and they take dogs for free. Doesn't make much sense to just dump them.
