Have tablet pcs improved?

just wondering as every professor gives out the ppt's that he uses during class online, and it would be nice to be able to write on them andedit them as he lextures more indepth about them. is there anything worthwile about them? they are overly expensive, costly, yes, but useful i believe so.

Do you guys have any input? thanks.

The Sagers are not true "tablets" and don't run the TabletOS. They are touchscreens, and work with Microsoft Journal and/or One Note (can't remember which), and some proprietary software, but that's about it. I played around with on and it works well enough in Paint and such, but if you're actually going to take notes and such, I would suggest a "real" tablet with an active digitzer such as those from Acer, Toshiba, Gateway, and Motion.
