1. I can not boot into Win ME due to an iosubsystem error. Scandisk found the error and supposedly corrected it, but the error is still there. Is there any way to use the ME system restore utility without being able to boot into ME? Safe mode is a no go as well. I do have the ability to boot into Win 2K if that helps?
2. Is there still a lot of hardware and software that is not supported under Win 2K. I currentlly have the dual boot, mainly using 2K. Win ME is there pretty much in case something does not work under 2K, but now with the problems i am considering going with just 2K unless someone says there is a lot of stuff nto supported by 2K. I think most of the stuff I have now will work under 2K except maybe a game or 2.
3. If I do decide to dump ME from my system will uninstalling it do the trick or is it more compllicated?
