Wow...

TBH, this article reads like something Pravda would put out.

I don't put any truth in it atm.

What year are we talking about here?
Considering the oldest African bones I know of are something on the bounds of 2.5 million years, 1000 years isn't much.

Oh, and a Google search turns up 3 copies of this, all on message boards. For an article like this, over a week old no less, it should be showing up in more places if it were valid.

""The oldest ever found. It seems that this country that most of us
have
hardly even heard of is where life originated. "

Edit: By the way, I smell shenanigans. Modern humans originated 160,000 years ago by current estimates. AFAIK, 1000 years within the error of carbon dating for that long ago, and what's more there isn't a point that you can draw the line at and say "this generation is human and this generation is not". All you can do is say "these are the oldest bones we've found that are very much like modern humans".

Yeah, I'm wondering if they actually have it down good enough that they'd be able to say one definately came before the other...

So this opens up the possibility that black people and white people were completely independent, but genetically compatible species which at some point had sex to produce our modern common species with ridiculous gaps between geographical areas (because those areas kept breeding with the "old" species) and that everything we've been taught about there being no difference except the color of our skin is total, scientific bunk (Oh, wait, it was anyway)

<== runs and hides.

Of course, this article is neither legitimate nor credible.

I also questioned the credibility of this, and was hoping someone would be able to shine some light. I did a google search, and all I found was links to message boards, and nothing on national geographic yet.

oh, and sorry about the yelling :) I didn't mean to!

Exactly. "Science" hasn't "GOOFED UP" anything.

Kramer: Ha ha, the Ukraine. Do you know what the Ukraine is? It's a sitting duck. A road apple, Newman. The Ukraine is weak. It's feeble. I think it's time to put the hurt on the Ukraine.

Ukrainian: I come from Ukraine. You not say Ukraine weak.

Kramer: Yeah, well we're playing a game here, pal.

Ukrainian: Ukraine is game to you?! Howbout I take your little board and smash it!!
