"Have it your way...a beat down is waiting for you when you leave!" (Burger King beating)

WTF? They beat the crap out of a woman over a badly cooked burger and an order of fries? What is this world coming to?

I wonder if she was ever 'Employee of the Month'

She does her part on keeping the costs down for the place, now will complain about wrong orders 🙂

That makes very little sense. The employee "threw the fries on the couple's tray, then threw a punch". Then what? They just sat around? A cashier punching a customer didn't catch the attention of the manager?

It seems likely that would have left immediately, not waited long enough for the cashier to call her mother et al. 😕

Thats what I was thinking. Unless the story ment that the "threw a punch" came later. Who knows, maybe they were really hungry or something.

Complaining about your order at a fast food resturant is the same as saying to the cook "Can you please do as many disgusting things you can think of to my food before you serve it to me"

Memorable night in my small town - a friend went through the drive through of Taco Bell, while I was in the car with him, and rather sarcastically asked the manager if he could talk to his xgf, who was working there. The manager was now dating said girl. The manager, both jealous and having endured some harassment from my friend already, came back with, "You wanna fight? Meet me in the parking lot right now!" My friend protests, "nah man, I don't wanna fight you! I'm eating a danish!" The manager didn't want to take no for an answer and came around the front, but my friend was prevented by the rest of us in the car from getting out and smacking the guy down (which he would have assuredly done).

There are no laws requiring cooks to wear gloves when they make food. Why do people get so anal about it? You're eating a hacked up peice of dead cow that's been through some of the most disgusting places in the country (ever driven past the feedlot on 5 just north of Stockton?) and you're complaining that someone might have touched it... ok...

Uhhh, actually, there are laws about wearing gloves to handle food. But, it really depends on where you live... In NY, the health codes are determined at the county level (hence, we have a county health department), but they still follow the codes set by the state. Here, no gloves = fine.

Which, by the way, I think is retarded. Because, when the employee puts the gloves on, they have to grab the gloves, touching the very surfaces with their hands that will then come into contact with the food. And, here at least, they can handle money with the gloves on, then go back to handling food. Just plain stupid.

Ok, well, there are no laws here 🙂

What BK is this? I want to eat there and have a punch thrown at me! Although I wouldn't sue over some hot coffee that *I* spilled in my lap... I think there's definitely some reasonable ground here for a lawsuit.
