The female ones should have breast implants. That would sure up the challenge.
It might off balance them and breast implants on young girls makes one feel awkward.

Remember, too, that there were rumors that the old Soviet female gymnasts were receiving treatments to slow down their development during puberty. Back then, with the younger girls doing gymnastics, it helped them gain an edge, because their girls would stay slimmer, and balance easier, than a girl who was developing hips & breasts.
That, along with the joint problems that were proven to happen to younger girls still growing, helped lead to the minimum 16 year age requirement.
If you look at photos of Olga Korbut, who competed in the 1972 Olympics, she looked old before her time.
I fell asleep in front of the TV last nght, and when I woke up the Jim McKay documentary was playing on HBO. It's quite good, and I enjoyed what I saw of it.
They showed this clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=spAlIMm8jSg
That is just fucking unbelievable. None of these heavily muscled girls could even approach something like that. The grace and beauty blows me away.
According to the documentary Korbut was not liked within the Russian gymnastic community. The film showed some closeups of her (and had a current interview with her), and while she was not that attractive nothing about her appearance struck me as unusual.
if more are built like Alicia Sacramone, I'm fine with that
I don't know about gymnastics, but are you sure about that?
I watched some uneven bar routines and the annoucers seemed thrilled when the girls could pull off a clean handstand. They seemed more interested in "big air".
It was like watching the X games.
