I used a Q-Tip for years, then last year I used a waterpik on lowest setting to flush my ear out, bam, huge block of wax came out that had probably been in there for an eternity, despite weekly Q-Tipping.

Link to waterpik tool used?

hmm, no wonder i've been losing hearing lately... all this earwax. every time i use a q-tip after a shower, all the dirt is at the end of the tip, rather than around the swab. time to go see a doctor
