this asus has a bunch of stuff i dont need on it, so i thought id get something cheaper that still had what i needed.
onboard lan: i just need one
sound: would like onboard sound, soundstorm woudl be nice, but not at all necessary
sata: ill never use it
ide raid: or this
overclocking: im ocing at 190fsb right now(highest stable i can get) the epox 8k5a2+ (kt333) i had let me do 195 stable, go figure. 190 is plenty though, just need something thats good for it.
dont need firewire connections or more than 4 usb ports, though i think thats common on most decent mobos now anyway.
considering: AN35N ultra by shuttle since ive heard good things about it, epox 8rda3+ since my last epox mobo was great, and this still goes for less than the asus i have, abit nf7-s, slightly cheaper than the asus but ive also heard its a very good board
what other thoughts/suggestions would you guys make? my main concerns are lan, sound and ability to change the vcore to 1.75 or 1.8 for overclocking
