have a typing test on friday...any tips?

I have a second interview with Farmers insurance on friday, and they want to see me for a typing test and an aptitude test.

Anyone have those things done before? For the typing test, I need to type 30wpm w/ 92% accuracy. I can usually type around 60 to 70 words per minute, but the errors sometimes pile up once I make one mistake.

I"m not sure if it varies by company, but how are typing test usually adminstered? is it a one time thing, or do they give you some trials?

Go to the bathroom as soon before your test as you can.

Remember the following..............

1.) Feet FLAT on the floor
2.) When you approach the typewriter, scoot in close to it, then just slide back a bit. (best way to get good distance)
3.) Put all ten of your fingertips together and press them as far apart as possible.
4.) You can do any wrist & arm stretches if you want but the above usually takes care of 99% of the stretching you'll need for typing.

Since your test is fewer wpm with some gracious errors, try & type slowly. (Believe it or not you'll actually have to try since you're a higher-end type who has errors)

If you do all of this above, you'll be golden!!

(I've held a couple records in typing so I can only ask you to trust me when I tell you this stuff!!)
