Ok I was trying to run 9x242 on my system, but i believe i forgot to lower the multiplier from 11 to 9, so I think my system tried to boot at 11x242 which is about 2.7 ghz with 1.85 vcore...Im an idiot... Anyway after that it didnt post so i cleared the CMOS. After that it would post a message saying there was an error loading the operating system. So i rebooted and then it said the video switch was set incorrectly. so i rebooted again, and this time it would not post at all... Tried a different video card still nothing. So i thought the mobo must be dead, so i replaced it with my A7N8X deluxe which i know works just fine. It still did not post.... the only thing left that it could be is the CPU right? Would accidently setting it to 11x242 kill it, even though it didnt run at that speed? Also if the CPU is dead, would the system have posted those two times afterwards.... I dont really see any other piece of hardware that could cause the system not to post now besides the CPU.... Any ideas? Thanks!
