I am requesting help of anybody has a Palm Zire 21, Zire 71, Tungsten E, Tungsten T2, Tungsten T3, Tungsten W, or Tungsten C. Palm has a program that awards gift certificates if you buy or refer friends who end up buying Palm handhelds.
I am trying to accrue Palmone Bucks so that I may buy a digital copier for my residency program's housestaff so we don't have to worry about running around trying to find a working copier after having been awake for 30 hours (on call). Yes you can use the codes yourself, but if you're not aggressive in accruing codes then you really don't get much. So far I have got about 8 handhelds registered including 5 that I and my family own - I've accrued about $125 in Staples credit.
If any of you have a Palm Zire 21, Zire 71, Tungsten E, Tungsten T2, Tungsten T3, Tungsten W, or Tungsten C please let me know. It doesn't matter where you bought the handheld or even if it's under warranty. I just need the PalmID code on the CD sleeve to register the handheld.
The thing that sucks is I'm buying 15 new Palm Zire 31s for the incoming interns and Palm doesn't count Zire 31's in this promotion (the Tungsten E's are a little too expensive for our program to buy for the interns).
If you have any questions please PM me. If you want to make sure I'm not running a scam for personal gain I can PM the phone number of our hospital's Director of Medical Education (DME).
So sad that that I have to beg for funds like this when the interns and residents probably save the hospital about $10 million dollars each year by using us as slave labor....but I appreciate any help that anybody is willing to offer. If you know anybody who has a palm and doesn't want to hassle with registering the code I would appreciate it if you can pass it on to me.
Thanks,
colossus
