Have a HFS + partition into 2 with out lossing data

I have a 200 gb external hard drive and i want to partition it into 2 one with hfs+ and one for FAT32 format, is there any way to do this with out losing the data?

do you have Windows installed on your system? If yes, then you can grab Partition Magic to partition that drive. Though I would recommend using Disk Utility first to have it erase the free space, just to be safe that none of your files are there.

I am guessing you want the FAT32 for windows compatibility. You could always install MacDrive on the system in question.
