Have 60 gig HD can I use it??

System is a dell xps d333 with chip set int 440xl bios ver P14 (latest). win me. Would be disappointed if I had to return ths HD. Can I use it?? Thanks for any assistance.

NO, YOU MUST SEND YOUR DRIVE TO ME. :p

You should be OK ... but if things don't work out, you can send the drive to me postage paid. (Am I asking for too much?) ;)

Even if your BIOS doesn't support drives over the 32GB limit, utils like this (MaxBlast Plus from Maxtor) should enable you to use the drive to it's full capacity. Of course if it doesn't work nevertheless, I guess you have no choise but to send your drive to SUOrangeman :p

The MaxBlast thing is only for Drive overlays on Maxtor drives I think...
IBM should have a drive overlay util though.

i was a Dell phone technician for several months. You should be ok. You can get the latest bios flash off of support.dell.com. Try that if you are still having problems.
