Have $250 for CPU & MB - What should I get ?

i would go with the xp2500+ retail......
i don't think the kids will be stressing the computer too much right?😉
 
Thanks for all the suggestions guys. Sounds like the NF7-S v2.0 and xp2500+ is the one for me. Are there 2 kinds of xp2500+? If yes which is the right one? They both (MB+CPU) price out at about $200 so I have about $50 left over. Should I spend the extra and get an xp2700+. Would I get a better overclock? I have 2 sticks of 256mb Samsung pc2700 so should I get better ram instead of a faster cpu?
