AMZN's already at its 52-week high. with a p/e ratio of 150+, if growth slows even a little, u'll be looking at $750 by Xmas.

INTC reports earnings tomorrow, hope its good because everybody already expects it to be very good, might want to buy AMD on sympathy, although they probably still wont report a profit this quarter

should have done it earlier.. i bought some emc at around 10.07.. now its like 14.40.. everything bought almost 3-4 month ago, has gone up almost 30-40%.. if you hold this till x-mas.. it may be up around 50% but who knows, it could go down... so how much risk are you willing to take... :)

a friend of mine bought $75 worth of Healthsouth at $.30/share and it's not at $2.00+

I think it hit over $3 at one point, needless to say, he's really happy.

do yourself a favor and buy an index fund; there's no need to take on the extra risk of owning single stocks.

If you are really into tech, but some QQQ instead, but I would recommend more broad indexes (like the S&P or Russell 1 or 2).

If you just want to "blow it", you're better off gambling. If you want to let it sit and appreciate for the long-term, I'd say put it in to VFINX (I think), the Vanguard S&P 500 Index Fund.

Anybody know anything about that new Spider thing? If you're in for the long haul, get some satellite radio stocks (SIRIUS and XM).

My dad tried to do that...he tried to by sonus too but was scared off. When I was interning at avaya last summer I told him to pick some up for around 5 bucks a share. He didn't and it's at like 14 now I think.

don't buy anything unlisted (as found on pinksheets.com.) They're cheap but they are just like the slot machines at vegas, the odds are stacked against you. They are basically unregulated and often highly manipulated.

Yep, wait for Google to go IPO. Krispy Kreme is going international soon. Invest now for good returns on their stock.
