I need some ideas!

Blow it on a Roth IRA or Mutual Fund. Turn that $1,000 in to $3,000 than again into $30,000! Give it enough time and one grand can make you very rich if spent wisely. A family member of mine put 1,500 in to a stock and now has over $10,000 over the course of two years.

Since you have not even posted a clue of what your interests might be, seems like you enjoy just exploiting others . . shove it up your ass!

screw investing, i want some instant gratification!

Punch yourself in the nuts, then tell yourself that there are some people out there who are starving to death while you want to "Gratify" yourself with $1,000; an insane amount of money in many countries. I'm not saying I always do the right thing, but I always feel bad when I don't, and always feel good when I do.

Lasting satisfaction > instant gratification

Sometime, you just need to spoil yourself....

Awesome.

btw, can someone tell me the name of the website that has all sorts of cool gadgets and electronics, it's a short name, I can't remember it though. ThePresence's suggestion of going to bhphotovideo reminded me of it (good suggestion btw, nice site!)

Guess a link to my Projector would of been helpful :p

H31 $599, free shipping, with a 100 rebate, making it $499, which you will get for I got mine, screen is a Elite can be had at Tiger Direct for $59.

The projector at the site, they offer a bulb replacement plan, 3 year with 2 bulbs, for $100, take it considering bulbs are $299 each. They also offer a nice 106" screen I believe at the site to for $79. The bulbs are to last 3000 hours, so if you use the PJ 21 hours a week it would take you 3 years to reach 3000 hours, by that time you will be itching for a upgrade.

Just a suggestion.

What's the address of that website that featured a different gadget/electronic device every day around Christmas?

Yeah, but just realize that the camera will be the least of your expenses.
This hobby adds up $$$$$$$$$.
Lenses don't come cheap.
And you will want them.
Many different ones.
Badly. :)
