Anyone have any good suggestions on what to buy and/or a website (or sites) that have lots of cool stuff to browse?

I need some ideas!

Punch yourself in the nuts, then tell yourself that there are some people out there who are starving to death while you want to "Gratify" yourself with $1,000; an insane amount of money in many countries. I'm not saying I always do the right thing, but I always feel bad when I don't, and always feel good when I do.

Lasting satisfaction > instant gratification

How about invest the money in yourself: buy and learn a musical instrument like someone suggested. Guitar and piano are great. They become a hobby, reduce stress, and develop your brain. Or you could buy a TV and rot your brain if you wanted to... it's up to you.

I'm not going to feel bad because I have some extra money. And yes it feels good to give to charity (I assume that's what you mean when you say "do the right thing"), but I'm not going to give all my money away.

I play the piano and know the trumpet also, good ideas though.
