Hauppage 500 and XP Pro

I am havoing a computer built right now. The Hauppage 500
tuner card does not seem to have drivers for XP Pro though
the documentation says the card supports XP Pro. Has anyone
had luck with this card and XP Pro.

The drivers are on the disk.......or, you can simply use the 150 drivers because the 500 is simply 2 X 150 tuners on one card..............

This is what I expected but the people building the computer for
me have indicated that any drivers they have are causing the
machine to freeze everytime windows is updated. They seem to have
traced this to some comaptibility issue. Normally they are very good.
I have had them build over a dozen machines for me at work with no hitches.
This build has been a bear. Here are the main components

X2 4800+
Asus A8N32-Deluxe
MSI 7800GTX

I am wondering if it is an issue with the motherboard and the Hauppage.

Unless it's the SLI part causing it, no. I have my PVR 500 MCE running on an A8N-E with an X2 3800+ and Win XP Pro & X64...........no conflicts whatsover. Tell them to D/L the newest drivers from the Hauppaugge site.

Did a bit of looking just now in some other forums and there are definately people running the 500 as well as other models on the Asus SLI boards with no problems. Do a hardware check also.........something is not right.....
