in Kansas City, every fall they have these "haunted houses" , big productions where they take very large buildings and convert them into scary attractions and charge a good bit of money (like $10? or something) to go through them

i had never seen anything on this scale before in other areas of the country i have lived in (upstate NY, Atlanta, Washington State)

do they do this around your parts? is it just a mid-west thing?

web site for some of them here in KC

In tucson we have a whole theme park sorta thing...called old tucson normally...an old movie studio where a lot of westerns were filmed. Anyways they setup the entire place with people dressed up and multiple haunted houses and all sorts of stuff to amke up kinda like an entire haunted town. Its pretty cool i think, and pretty well put together the last time i went.

Of course there is nothing like that in my area since I would enjoy it. But, there is nothing to do in this little sh!thole of a state anyway so who's surprised?

Wildwood has a weak one that looks like a castle of several stories, though the walk-through is pretty tame & short.

All over the place here in Michigan. I can think of at least 4 within 10 minutes of my house.
