Exactly... this will not be a problem... there will always be a solution for those that require conventional PCI...

I dunno if I'd go as far to say "always", but yeah it will certainly be around for the foreseeable future.

Looks like the mobo manufacturers are still putting PCI slots on the 8 series motherboard, they are just using 3rd party controllers.
