No, we just don't revere him like you guys do. We see his faults, his constant lies, his lack of intellectual curiosity. You on the other hand probably see him as the all-american rich guy you wish you could be.

Well then, I'd say you could/should raise your expectations, join the rest of the adult world and push yourself even harder so that you can benefit not only yourself, but all of the other folks around you. :)

Trump wants to work on the National deficit. We can't take 4 more years of increased debt with compounding interest. We need Trump to make the government lean to cut out needles spending, corruption also increase industry growth to help pay the National deficit and taxes, new jobs. Simply put, money is leaving the USA, money is not coming into the USA. The USA is hemorrhaging. That is why National deficit is increasing so fast. LINK http://www.usdebtclock.org/

Do you say this knowing that trumps economic plan has been said to add 7+ trillion to the debt over ten years, while Clinton's plans would cut the debt by 1.6 trillion?

Seems odd you'd support a candidate who's policies would result in the exact opposite of what you want. I'm sure you'll tell us how adding 7+ trillion to the deficit is now a good thing.

why is it that everyone seems to agree that Trump's tax plan will seriously increase the deficit?

Trump's Tax Plan Could Increase Deficit By $5.3 Trillion - And Raise GDP By 8.2%, Wages By 5.4%

The congress would only vote on tax cuts after Trump brings back industry jobs and all the other things I said below.

Hillary's plan is the same thing as Obama's plan , going nowhere.

If by nowhere you mean 79 months of straight job growth, 15+ million jobs added since the recession peaked, and bringing unemployment down to 5% from its peak of 10%, oh and the largest increase in median income and one of the sharpest declines of Americans living in poverty in decades. So yeah, if you don't include that then there really hasn't been any movement!

Where do these stupid fucks come from?

Better to be nowhere then somewhere I don't like with his reasoning.

Then I congratulate you and thank you for your service. I served my country protecting you from our enemies for almost 30 years and volunteer my time at our local VFW post. So I guess we both don't know each other too well. ;)

Now, back to raising your expectations. Being in a position where you have all of those wonderful material things that you mentioned that makes you happy is the perfect situation to be in where you can still help others by sharing your happiness in so many ways, don't you think? :)

And I'm only saying this because you mentioned that you "was" a volunteer fire fighter and EMS, and the way you framed your post led me to assume that you're single with a successful future ahead of you.

But now they are louder and they are even angrier--and rightfully so--of course their target both remains the same but has also now been turned against the hand that has fed them for so long, so shamelessly. And the liberals are to blame as well, for being so complacent and so willing to accept that these people's frustrations can so easily be explained away by their racism, their ignorance--that they are unhappy for unreasonable reasons so, in the end, aren't really relevant so it isn't worth courting them.
I agree. The left failed to communicate with people who should have been part of their coalition for far too long, while leaving them vulnerably exposed to the ideologies that do not serve their interests. If nothing else, the left must recognize that all of us share the same boat called America, and find a way to lift them up out of their grievance, both economically and culturally.

Bullshit. Time was when the folks you mention were a part of the Democratic coalition, before civil rights. Before unions were crushed. Before people working with their hands were replaced by computers working with robots & automated production. Before the job creators didn't need us the way they once did. Before they were chumped by Reaganomic rhetoric. Before we were induced to forget the lessons of the Great Depression.

It's tough to communicate with people who don't recognize that the earth has shifted beneath our feet, with people who don't want to hear it, with people who want reality to be something it's not and can't possibly be.

When we forget history we are doomed to repeat it. Just as my signature suggests all of the worker and social protections that we all enjoy today came from one party because caring people sought solutions to address the issues perplexing the regular people of this great nation. Make no mistake about it, this nation is still the greatest nation on this earth and good people will keep it that way. The industrial revolution was brought about by Republican business owners who saw workers as mere commodities to be consumed. They want to do the very same thing today but federal laws prevent them from it. Republican law makers have been whittling away at worker gains and want to repeal/revise the Wagner Act to strip workers of their collective bargaining rights to take us back to the days of yore.

it started with palin and bachmann, imo. They 'validated' being vapid and elected.
Being stupid was cool since at least the late 70s. The 80s took the idea mainstream. A third generation is now being raised not only by proud ignorant parents, but also by proud ignorant grandparents who were supposed to be the ones imparting wisdom.

I don't disagree that we need that, but a serious question for you. What on Earth makes you think Trump will do that, or even attempt it?
