Disclaimer: I have never even had private contact with the person in question. This is an completely off-the-wall, unsolicited, yes-I'm-that-bored kind of post. Perfect for OT. 🙂

Origins: To the best of my knowledge, the individual who created the PsychoAndy account is quite dead and packed away in a box somewhere. The entity known as PsychoAndy's Bro took up the reins to the account in his place. Ignoring the question of foul play, let's move on...

Proposal: Existing under the identity of another is no way to live in this proud, free and yummy-tasting nation of ours. Perhaps all PsychoAndy's Bro needs is a nudge in the direction of change. That is where this thread would come in. Here, I'll even get us started.

PsychoAndy's Bro New Identity, Take One

Hmm...immediately in my mind's eye I fashioned the NEW PsychoAndy's Bro using garments from the GAP online page I already had open. Making a few quick picks I quickly rendered this artist's impression of the new PAB:

TA-DA! (Footwear optional)

PAB? Yes? No? Some minor tweaking is of course possible. For the rest, I've also set up a template of template of PAB for your uses. LET LOOSE THE DOGS OF WAR!

I agree with ya sullmeister. I think PAB should get his own AT nickname but it may be a PITA for them if they're using the same PC with the same cookies, etc.

I think 90% of the time I've conversed with PsychoAndy it's been with David (PAB).
 
You've all been talking to David, considering that he lets Andy have the computer for a grand total of 2.37 minutes a day and lives online every other available second.

*sigh* And I thought I could register PAB and login as him, so my brother would post without knowing a damn thing. But outside intervention was inevitable. I think it's time for ATOT Storytime, to explain this quagmire of double identities and the duality of man. Or something.

It was a nice day out, and I crusied around in OT and HD. I usually looked around for hot deals, like the Netgear RT314 Router deal a year or 2 ago, where I got PAID to keep a router. Anyways, I made a pretty penny off of that, around 500 bucks. My brother, impressed at my ability to sit on my ass and make money, got on here. And that's when it started. At first, during 2001, he was relatively complacent. He just lurked for hot deals, like the Palm Reseller Program, or where he could find 10 off 10 staples deals. He started posting on HD, commenting on deals, putting in his 2 cents, and finding them, to make money and buy cool stuff.

And then, he moved to ATOT, much like a parasite, and much to my dismay. He lurked a bit...and then started posting and talking to people under the guise of me. The only people on AT who have talked to me (PsychoAndy) on AIM would be Kelvrick, Kev1n, and 911Paramedic. The rest, like Ross, HotChic, baffled2, et al, have talked to my brother, PAB. So, during this summer, we both posted. I posted in political and stupid (arguably the same) threads, while he often neffed it up and posted in HD/Ebay/Money/Paypal threads. Then, we went to meet AphexII and yakko, and we had a video, which prompted my brother to use PAB at the end. FYI, I'm the 1st one you see, and he's the one that's yelling at AphexII about how he could've saved money. And after that, I kinda died off, due to me chatting from the evening to the morning with people on AIM. Then, since school started early (August 8), i have school (3 AP classes, senioritis, not a good combination), and trying to converse in my free innerweb time. Not to mention the effect that SomethingAwful's Forums have on me.

In summation, I = not dead in Dell boxes with "MCO" labels strewn all over them. I have school, random internet people, and SA to go to. Consequently, that leaves my bro free rein of my account 🙁 I stopped caring long ago. I should come back here more often (to the dismay of many people), but some of the threads are pretty damn stupid. Oh well.

And finally, we don't have 10 dells...yet.
